The latest announced WARDOGS beta cutoff, previous testing milestones, time-zone conversions and the separate Early Access date.
The latest announced WARDOGS beta cutoff is Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 08:00 UTC. BULKHEAD's September 5 announcement opened the test until that time. It does not announce another beta after this window. [open-beta]
| Location | Scheduled finish |
|---|---|
| UTC | September 6, 08:00 |
| US Pacific (PDT) | September 6, 01:00 |
| US Eastern (EDT) | September 6, 04:00 |
| UK (BST) | September 6, 09:00 |
| Central Europe (CEST) | September 6, 10:00 |
| China (UTC+8) | September 6, 16:00 |
These are conversions of the published UTC cutoff, not separate regional windows. An announced window also does not prove that every server is healthy at a particular moment. If login fails during the scheduled period, follow the access-denied checks. [open-beta]
| Date | What the official announcement establishes |
|---|---|
| August 21–23 | The previous Closed Beta weekend |
| August 24 | BULKHEAD confirmed that weekend had ended |
| September 1 | Beta 02 announced as a staged scale test after The FPS Games Show |
| September 3, 18:00 UTC | Scheduled beta start shown on the Steam store |
| September 5 | The closed test changed to an open beta |
| September 6, 08:00 UTC | Scheduled end of the open window |
The August dates come from the pre-order announcement and subsequent recap. September's start is the published schedule, not a measurement of when servers became reachable. The test is on Steam for Windows PC. Its initial closed-access rules were later changed by the open-beta announcement. [preorder][beta-recap][steam-store][beta-two][open-beta]
September 10 is the announced Steam Early Access release date. It is a different event from a temporary beta weekend. The release-date page covers that milestone and the absence of a confirmed finished-release date. [preorder]
For another test, use a newly dated announcement from BULKHEAD or the Steam news feed. Do not infer a repeating weekend schedule from the previous sessions. The cited announcements do not confirm a new post-September-6 beta or region-specific replacement sessions.
The current access route is the Steam Playtest entry. See how to check beta access for the account and client checks; an old invitation or installed client does not extend the published window. [beta-two]
