Understand the 2 × 2 km Control Zone, how teams score and what the Hot Zone changes, then explore our Bakurani and Ozeti map references.
The WARDOGS Control Zone is a 2 × 2 km objective area inside a larger map. Its position is randomized between matches. Three teams compete for presence inside that area; the team with the most players there earns points, and reaching 100 points wins. The 2 × 2 km measurement describes the objective, not the whole battlefield.
Our map references include terrain images, coordinate limits and documented tower positions. Use the map name shown in your current match before reading a location or sharing a coordinate.
| Map reference | What you can check here |
|---|---|
| Bakurani | The terrain overview, five community-recorded tower markers and Bakurani's coordinate extent. |
| Ozeti | The town and surrounding road network, four recorded tower markers and its different grid limits. |
These two guides do not claim to list every map. The community registry reviewed for this article also contains Zestafona. A name in that registry establishes the tool's coverage, not that the corresponding map is available in every server rotation.
Keep three things separate when reading the game map:
Do not infer a map's playable size from a square image or a community viewer's canvas dimensions. Terrain pictures can include land beyond the viewer's calibrated coordinate limits. Each map reference states the bounds used for its own image.
At deployment, check the displayed Control Zone, your team's position and a route into the contested area. Reusing a previous match's destination can leave your squad outside the place where presence scores. The official description confirms variable zone placement; it does not promise one permanent centre for every match.
For movement planning, compare roads and crossings with your current in-game map. The images on this site are references: they do not show live enemies, active objectives, built structures or damage from your match. Use the tower guide for the separate community-reported tower interactions, or the beginner guide for deployment and team roles.
