The WARDOGS Artillery Calculator is an existing community tool by Apollyon. It accepts game positions and displays distance, bearing and a MIL setting from its configured weapon data. It runs on the author's site, with a separate mobile view. [calculator] [tool-features]

This is an unofficial game calculator. Match its map and weapon selection to your game, and treat the result as community data that may need checking after a game update.

Use the calculator with your game map

Have your current map name, your in-game position and your intended target's game coordinates ready. The reviewed registry includes Bakurani and Ozeti map configurations; that describes the tool's coverage, not the complete WARDOGS map roster. [map-registry]

  1. Choose the matching map and weapon in the tool. If the map you are playing is not available, do not substitute another map's coordinates.
  2. Enter the two positions. Use the artillery and target fields or the map controls to set them. Copy the coordinates in the format displayed by the game and check both X and Y.
  3. Inspect their placement. Confirm that the markers land where you intended before reading the calculation. A result can be numerically valid even when the wrong map or position was selected.
  4. Read the displayed result and status. An out-of-range warning means the position pair falls outside the selected tool configuration. Recheck the inputs; do not invent a result beyond the available data. [tool-features] [tool-maps]

The workflow has succeeded when the intended positions are represented on the correct map and the tool returns a result for that selection. Actual in-game accuracy still depends on the data matching the build you are playing.

Coordinates and height need separate checks

The documented copy-and-paste format is x100.05, y109.14. The tool also accepts a plain pair of numbers. Preserve the decimal places and check the X/Y order when copying your own game coordinates. [tool-features]

Terrain3D adds height context, but the documentation says it does not automatically adjust the MIL result. A visible terrain model therefore does not establish that the calculation compensates for a height difference. [tool-terrain]

If a result looks wrong

First recheck the selected map and weapon, then the two positions and coordinate format. Compare the tool's latest documentation with any game update since the data was collected. The reviewed documentation names tool version v1.6.0; that is the calculator's version, not a WARDOGS game build. [tool-features]

If your map or current equipment is unsupported, keep using the information available inside the game rather than carrying a result across unrelated configurations. The public repository is the place to inspect the author's latest changes or report a tool-specific problem.
