Compare the US Steam prices and cosmetic contents of WARDOGS editions, with regional price and beta-access limits explained.
The US Steam store lists WARDOGS at $39.99 and the Supporter Edition at $49.99 as checked on September 6, 2026. The $10 difference buys cosmetic extras. These are US-dollar store prices; use your local Steam account to check regional pricing and any applicable tax. [steam-store]
| Edition | US listed price | Contents described by BULKHEAD |
|---|---|---|
| WARDOGS | $39.99 | Base game |
| Supporter Edition | $49.99 | Base game plus the Supporter cosmetic pack |
Both prices use the same store, currency and verification date. [steam-store]
BULKHEAD lists three starter-weapon camos: a Valkyra A-91 camo, a Lonestar Bushmaster camo and a Manticore KH-2002 camo. The pack also includes a Littlebird helicopter Taxi camo, a scoreboard supporter icon, a grenade bobblehead and a helmet bobblehead. The icon can be hidden in settings. [preorder]
The announcement describes these as cosmetic content. It does not say that paying the difference increases damage, gives a larger cash balance or unlocks a stronger faction.
Choose the base edition if you want access to the game and do not value those cosmetics. Choose the supporter option if the listed extras appeal to you and you want to spend more to support development. Both choices still involve an unfinished Early Access title; neither purchases a guaranteed delivery date for future features. [preorder]
For the August Closed Beta, the developer specifically said Supporter Pack items would unlock at Early Access launch rather than during that test. Missing cosmetics in that beta were therefore not proof that a purchase had failed. That historical notice should not be used to diagnose every future entitlement problem. [beta-issues]
The September 5 announcement opened the current beta, scheduled to end September 6 at 08:00 UTC. Older advertisements for guaranteed closed-beta access describe an earlier access rule. Do not buy solely because an old guide says pre-ordering is required for that open window. Read the current access instructions. [open-beta]
BULKHEAD discusses stepped pricing as development progresses, so the listed price should not be treated as permanent. Its August monetization statement says cash and gold must be earned through gameplay, and identifies the optional Supporter Edition as the exception to its no-extra-monetization position during Early Access. Check any later announcement before relying on a future pricing assumption. [preorder]
